Beth was looking for a fresh start and the inherited cafe in the middle of nowhere was her ticket to it. As a young widow with a young daughter, starting over in a small town was just what she needed. Especially since her late husband's killer was after her now.
Isit coincidence or fate that the kindly vet neighbor's nephew is currently finding himself in the same town at the same time? He's an ex-cop looking to hide from mlistakes. He doesn't want a wife, especially not one with a child. Or does he?
I loved this story. I live for suspense, and even though this wasn't tagged as "suspense" it contained a great deal of it!
