Michelle's second book is set at the end of the world, or close enough. Josie's brothers sent her on a much-needed vacation at Kent Black's ranch/retreat. Retreat really describes it -- he has only rustic cabins and isolation and beautiful scenery to offer. Josie wants contact with people and life and she reaches out to Kent and some townspeople. While she is afraid of many things, she's not afraid of loving despite the pain it might bring. How will she bring Kent back to the land of the living and loving? Good opening scene, good plot, good emotions, I'll enjoy watching Michelle develop and mature as an author. NFM
