Lord Libertine

This is a very dark story about the excesses of the Ton post-Waterloo.  Lady Lace is going around London kissing men in order to find the killer of her sister.  Cora was killed as a result of a cult worship but lived long enough to tell Bella about her killer.  Lord Libertine was also investigating the murder for the Crown.  Once he meets Lady Lace, sparks fly.  As they grow closer together, the danger increases to both Lady Lace and her other sisters.  Will Lord Libertine be able to find the murderer in time and, also his own heart?

I found the cult worship repulsive and the members of the Ton who participated in it, disgusting.  As for Lady Lace and Lord Libertine, their story is very interesting.  I give this book a B only because I had a hard time reading it. Cool
