Love's Haven

I definitely recommend this book. Catherine Palmer captures the characters' emotions in a way that is not only credible but touching. I felt for Mara and found myself wondering what I would do if I were in her situation, widowed with a baby. It seems strange to a romance driven society such as ours to think that a woman would marry a man who not only did not share her faith but whom she blamed for her husband's death but the way the story unfolds makes it believable to the reader. Mara and Brock's chemistry was evident through their interactions with each other, as they attracted and repelled each other throughout the story. Love's Haven may be a romance but it is not a lightweight read.
