Copied Blurb:
With her greatest enemy dead, and on her way to be reunited with the family she'd been stolen from long ago, Yelena should be pleased. But though she has gained her freedom, she can't help feeling isolated in Sitia. Her Ixian background has changed her in many ways--and her newfound friends and relatives don't think it's for the better.... Despite the turmoil, she's eager to start her magic training--especially as she's been given one year to harness her power or be put to death. But her plans take a radical turn when she becomes involved with a plot to reclaim Ixia's throne for a lost prince--and gets entangled in powerful rivalries with her fellow magicians. If that wasn't bad enough, it appears her brother would love to see her dead. Luckily, Yelena has some old friends to help her with all her new enemies....
My Review:
Well, what can I possibly say that others have not already said about this wonderful book and series?? It is such an engrossing story. I think Yelena is one of my favorite h's I have ever met in my stories. Thank goodness I have Fire Study, so I can jump right into it! Very highly recommended!!!

Study books
Thanks for the great review. Poison Study is still on my TBR shelves, but I may move it up in the stack.

Tammy I know exactly what you mean.
I was really glad, once I started reading Poison Study, that I had waited to read Poison Study... I procrastinated long enough that both subsequent books were readily available.... I sure didn't want to wait to continue the story!

Hey Leanne and Kalyko!!
Hey Leanne!
Oh, I think you will Love Poison Study, Leanne! It was in my Top Ten favorite books last year, and I am certain Magic Study will make it in my Top Ten for this year as well. Awesome books!!
Hey Kalyko!
I don't know why it took me so long to get to Magic Study, as I loved Poison Study when I read it last year. But, no matter, as I get to roll right into Fire Study. I understand Fire Study is the last book with Yelena as the h?? But that Snyder has other books planned in the same world? I can't remember where I saw that, perhaps yours, or Deb's posts??

Wasn't this great?
I can't wait to read more about the characters in this world Ms. Snyder has built. Great series and I'm so glad I finally got them read and it's all thanks to Kelley who loaned me the audios.

Hey Kalyko and Deb!
Hey Kalyko!
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you....my mom was in town for a week, and we managed to keep ourselves quite busy. Oh, Opal's story should be very fascinating!! Thanks for the heads up!!
Hey Deb!
Magic Study was wonderful!! I am almost through Fire Study now. I just can't believe how many twists and turns it has taken. Just when I think Yelena has really made the right decision....something else happens. I am curious to see how Maria V. Snyder wraps it up.

Tammy
