Cold, rainy days were made for writing. Hubby called me early on to let me know he'd gotten a rain out from work, so while waiting for him to get home, I passed up on house cleaning and went straight to my WIP. I wrote notes for about thirty minutes, looked over the notes I already had, and made plans for what I wanted to write.
Once hubby was home and the toddler was down for a nap, I put my focus on writing. I managed 2k today in just under an hour, and have now crossed the 10k milestone on my WIP. Woot! *dance, dance* Now I only have between 70-80k words left to go.
I keep telling myself a little progress is better than no progress. But at times...boy, that finish line seems very, very far away!

Thats awesome!!
Have you ever done Nanowrimo? I did it last year and I felt incredibly productive....Unfortunately, I'm now into editing it.

NaNo
Thanks!
I've attempted NaNo a few times, but I never seem to get very far with it. I crumple under the pressure. That's awesome you were able to finish there! *thumbs up*
