This is a reread, but I last read it about two years ago! A pile of books had spilled to the floor (which does happen often I must admit!) and somehow this one didn't end up back at the shelf for a day or two! I love this series, and really want to see what's up with Roger now. I went to the Baen site, but there doesn't seem to be a new one scheduled--I guess the authors are so busy with their individual titles. I've also liked the energy in these books, the respect for military traditions, the knowledge that you're always at the mercy of others, the willingness to die, to fight and especially to survive for a cause you believe in, and the determination that gets you through one horrible day after another. I have a feeling that I'll be skimming the other books in the series pretty soon, in the hopes of satisfying a need for that spirit. (MTH)
