THE MARINE'S BABY by Rogenna Brewer, SuperRomance, March 08.
In just a few months Caitlin Calhoun went from a wife to a widow to a mother-to-be. All she'd wanted was to honor her dead husband by having his baby. But that's not what she got. Thanks to an unfortunate mix-up, her child's father is her husband's half brother, Lucky. So how does she break the news that he's about to become a father?
Family is the last thing the war toughened Marine expected to have -- not with all the bad blood in his own. But Lucky would never turn his back on a child . . . or the woman who's given him a second chance.
I love this author's writing. She always captures and conveys emotions so realistically. I really loved Lucky. He's the best kind of H, one who's strong and caring on the outside but vulnerable on the inside.

I liked this one, it made me realise I've enjoyed everything
I've read by this author, maybe I should put her on my must-buy list

No more excuses, just READ!
This book was a first read for me
by this author... but by no means the last. I loved the way that her characters developed and the way that the various elements all worked together so much that she's definitely an auto-buy for me. And I get to look for her previous books, which is always a pleasure.

I think I have
I think I have several copies of each book she's written but that's really not so many as she only puts a book out every few years. I've loved her books since the first one I read which was the Seal's Baby and then I went and found the others. I only wish she could write more but maybe that's why they're so special to me as she doesn't. I loved the convoluted family tree in this one and the same name thing was very well done.

I agree with all of you!
I agree with all of you! While I wish the author would write faster, if she has to take as much time between her books to achieve the level of emotions she portrays, I'll be content to wait and savor them as often as she can produce them.
Thanks for the comments, gals. :-)
RE: THE MARINE'S BABY by Rogenna Brewer
I've got to start out by saying that I'm very impressed by "The Marine's Baby." Stories about Military Personnel and Babies usually are towards the top of my book-buying list, and this one was no exception. Reading the Teasers and Blurbs, though, this book DID have the potential to implode upon itself and become product fit for the louvre instead of the well-written "feel-gooder" that it is. At the end (without giving away spoilers) all I have to say is that all Lucky did was "man-up" when required, and he always did the right thing by Cait.
