Andreas Markonos married a pregnant 17 year old named Louisa and left her living on a beautiful island with his family while he finished his degree and became established in business.
Until tradgedy strikes and Louisa returns to England with her family.
Five years later they meet again.
I have read every Michelle Reid book I could find, and I believe that is all of them. There are only a few of her books that I would tell you to stay away from. This is not one of them.
This book was fantastic. A true classic Presents.
You feel for both these people.
This is a must read!!!

Definately recommend this
Definately recommend this one!
The Salvatore Marriage AND The Markonos Bride are the two best Michelle Reid books I've read, and I seriously highly uber recommend them.
Very good books, high emotional intensity, huge passion, tender destined love, fidelity to the memory of each other (even during lengthy separation)
