The Markonos Bride - Michelle Reid

Sorry I am still  way way way behind. Greek Tycoons story. Wow, interesting story was this one....Andreas and Louisa are an interesting pair. They had some really interesting parents too!

This book was great.  Silly

This book was great.  Silly family interference kept them apart.  But hey, if you value fidelity, this book was a satisfying read.  Both husband and wife were emotionally devastated by their separation and the death of their child and neither went out and rushed into bed with other people (despite a lengthy separation).  I like reading stories like that because marriage can be rough and hard... and to know that the person you're with is still in love with you during the bad times is important to me.

I could not agree more. They

I could not agree more. They were young and it showed, but that they managed in the end even with all the interfering along the way is nice to read. I like happy and detest  infidelity.

When I see a book with fidelity, I just want to hand the hero, heroine, and author a medal and thank them!  LOL.  I detest infidelity too.  And to see fidelity in a romance just restores my faith in humanity and makes me feel good about romance!

Because really...  if the heroine's in your escapist romance novels can't get fidelity from the ultimate hero, what does that say about real life?  If infidelity is so prevalent that it's acceptable in a romance novel....  if infidelity is so ingrained that it's just one more obstacle a romance couple faces and has to live with....  GRR!

I don't want to live with infidelity.  And I hate seeing heroine's who have to live with it.  (it's always the hero who's with other women)

I spout all my feelings and reactions to books in public online because hey, maybe the writers will read it and think "shit I better write my next book to include fidelity or Janet will bitch about it" (wouldn't that be wonderful? instant wish gratification?  affecting the course that future romance novels will take?  *evil grin*)
