Characters - I liked both Matilda and Sebastion, in large part because they weren't perfect plastic people. They struggled with Matilda's physical handicap and learning to be better people in terms of sharing and allowing themselves to be vulnerable emotionally.
Dialogue - The dialogue has moments that are fun and flirty but also so very poignant moments.
Plot - In saving his uncle's company, they save themselves.
I would (and did) share this book with my mother.
