The Marriage Recipe by Michele Dunaway (HAR 04 ’08)

Rachel returns home to Indiana after finding her fiancée and boss in bed with another.  However, things go from bad to worse when he demands her recipes saying they were created while she worked for him.  She goes to the hometown law firm and ends up hiring her old friend Colin to represent her.  After the two deal with their baggage from the past, can they find a future – even though she lives in NYC and he in Indiana?  I loved the way this dealt with the past, straight up got the issues out, but had a bit of an issue with Colin at the end.  He knew she was moving back to NYC, yet during the ending, it was like she hadn’t told him all along that she wasn’t staying there.  I was okay with most of it, but thought he was a bit tough on her.  Overall a very good book and a nice follow-up to Legally Tender.
