Another "young adult" novel... This one I bought, and read it before passing on to my 12-y-o daughter. It puts a creative twist on the frequently-seen YA theme of flat-chested girls bemoaning their lack of breasts. This book is about a 12-y-o girl who has what she considers to be humiliatingly enormous breasts - she's a 36C in a class of 34As.
Great idea, and very well done, as the heroine discovers that her "endowments" snag the attention of a good-looking older guy, at the same time as she's trying to hide them from her back-in-town childhood guy pal.
As I commented to Shannon re yesterday's review of one of Meg Cabot's book, given that I have a 13-y-o son, plus 12-y-o and 10-y-o daughters, YA fiction is very much in my face! It's great to keep up with what the kids are reading, and they're increasingly pressuring me to write a book "for them"!

Hmm...might have to check
Hmm...might have to check this one out. Sounds like I could so relate to the character as I never suffered from the flat-chested thing myself. I swear, one day I started budding and the next day 'they' were in your face.
TMI. Can't believe I just shared that. Oh well...

Shannon, I would have said
Shannon, I would have said as a teenager that I'd have jumped for joy to have that "problem"...but I guess none of us wanted to be "different" at that age, whether big or small in the chest department...
