As an editorial assistant on a magazine, Carmel Rourke tries to ascertain the identity of Jack Devlin,  a mysterious crim novelist by sneaking into his hotel suite.  Jack catch her in his bathroom and that follows a night of passion.  Mel sneaks out, thinks that she will never see Jack again.  A weeks later, Jack promises the magazine an exclusive story if Mel agrees to accompany him on his book tour so she can write the artical.  What will happen on the tour?
