***I rate this book very good.  Reporter Louisa Dimarco convinces co-worker Carmel (Mel) to hide in a stranger’s hotel room in an attempt to try to identify the mysterious crime writer known only as Devlin.  While hiding in a shower in the Ritz Carlton, Mel begins to think there had to be other ways to promote from lowly assistant.  Just when Mel decides to leave, the rooms’ occupant returns and decides to take a shower. 

When Jack goes to take a shower he can’t believe there is a beautiful female hiding in his shower.   He also can’t believe it when the female actually faints when he confronts her!  Jack can’t ignore the sparks that fly between the two of them, even when he finds Louisa DiMarco’s reporters badge in the girl’s purse. After a night of intense passion with the stranger Louisa flees the hotel room while he is still sleep.

Jack is determined to find Louisa and find out why she fled his bed.  But, when Jack finds out Louisa is none other than Carmel he decides to blackmail her into spending two weeks in his bed as his mistress! 

This was a very good and easy to read romance.
