4 Mini’s all in one review to count for Harlquin’s book challenge:

1) The Marriage Secret by Kim Lawrence

BLURB:

Emily has a secret to tell her husband–but he’s spending their wedding anniversary with his ex-wife.

FORMAT: ebook

REVIEW:

I’d actually read this a long time ago. Didn’t realize it though
until I started reading. I kept reading it though as it’d been long
enough I didn’t remember all the details and I enjoyed it. A twist on
things that I thoroughly found fun.

REVIEW: When it comes to stories by Sharon I’m
really up and down. I’ve read a couple I’ve loved and some, like this
one that I totally did not. I loved the opening and then for me the
story became not an ‘experience’ but rather a ‘telling’ and I couldn’t
wait for it to be done. But like I said, I’ve read several book by her
that I loved…so I keep buying her. I would not recommend this one
though.

3) Stolen by the Shiekh by Kate Walker(Round Robin)

BLURB: Lucy Mannion has traveled with
her uncle to the desert kingdom of Dahman to negotiate some vital oil
leases. But she awakens to find herself in a different place than she
was the evening before — and the prisoner of the arrogant Sheikh Hakim
Bin Taimur Al Fulani.

REVIEW: This was middle of the ground for me. I
enjoyed the voices, the tones and the concept. The story was supposed
to be short though and I personally had a hard time with the leap it
made to achieve this. *shrug*, it was a short story though…so maybe I’m
just not a ’short-story’ lover. I’ve not read many.
