The Mistress of the Art of Death

Imagine CSI Canterbury Chronicles and you have a glimmering of what The Mistress of the Art of Death is like. It's brilliant! Set during Henry II (1100s England) this story is incredibly well written, is historically informative, filled with politics, religion and science, but it is really the characterization that stood out. I loved reading about this heroine and her skills - I rushed out and bought book two in trade paper for $25 (ouch!). If you're looking for something a little different and really, really good, read this book.

I am halfway through this

I am halfway through this one.  It is a wonderful read.  I am a Medieval Junkie.

I can't wait

Malle was raving about this one at the office, so much so that we both had to check out when the next book was out...good news!!  It's out now...but first I have to read this one.  Mine and Malle's tastes are similiar, so I'm sure I'll be curled up with this one shortly.
