MOB MISTRESS by Sheri WhiteFeather

Sheri is back in a new line with a new story, which is good news for her readers.

Followers of her writing will see, although this is a stand alone book, the tie into Sheri's earlier stories on the Elk family. Justin is finally getting his own story.

Adopted as a baby, and brought up never knowing his roots, Justin is astounded to say the least when he is kidnapped and drugged. The events that follow has many twists and turns for him and mind boggling consequences.  How could he be a heir to the notorious Halloway mob, and never have known the connection. Maya Reyes has managed to get inside of the Halloway estate, as a maid,  in a quest to find out the truth about her father disappearing as he did.  Now both Justin and Maya must join forces to find their way to the truth of it all. Along with everything that they are trying to uncover to get to the truth, they have the uncontrollable passion for each other. Will it be their downfall, or will they be able to finally get to some truths after all this time, and survive to possibly work at their own happily ever after.

This is a great read, which I enjoyed. It is a story that unfolds, and sweeps you along in its quest to finally solve Justin's roots and how will it all affect Maya and Justin. Whether a first time reader of Sheri's or a long-time favourite author of yours - you can't go wrong with this book.

Thanks for the review.  I've read the other Elk family stories and I have this in the TBR.  Hopefully, I'll get to it soon.
