This book takes place in the town of Paradise Corners, Montana where Dr. Jodie Maxwell has opened her clinic. I love the way that each book can be a stand-a-lone and yet a sub-plot slowly weaves its way throughout both of the books I've read in the series so far. The huge family ranch is always there for them to run home to.
This book as an element of suspense as well. Someone is spreading rumors about Jolie as well as threatening her.
