An anthology featuring stories by four great authors. These are excellent, excellent, excellent!
My rating: 4/5
Contains:
1. Mother May I? by Lynsay Sands (set in London in 1358)
2. The Breeding Season by Lisa Cach (set in London in 1750)
3. Seeking Single Superhero by Julie Kenner (set in the present-day)
4. The Day Her Heart Stood Still by Susan Grant (set slightly in the future)
Julie Kenner's story takes place in the same universe as her novels Aphrodite's Kiss, etc. I didn't really take to the novels, but I really liked Seeking Single Superhero, which features an atypical superhero--a guy who looks like a geek, or thinks he does!
Susan Grant's story takes place within the same general universe as the series that includes My Favorite Earthling, etc. I absolutely love this series! Susan Grant is, hands down, one of the best talents out there.
I am a huge fan of Lynsay Sands' paranormal novels, but I keep running across some historical shorts she's published in anthologies like this one. They're really good, too, proving what a versatile talent she really is.
I had never (to the best of my knowledge) read anything by Lisa Cach before, but I found her story surprisingly touching (and sensual as well). In fact, all of these stories were rather steamy.

Enjoyed this one!
I really liked this anthology and it's on my keeper shelves. Glad to see another person enjoying it.
