Stella, her son, and her father are an interesting family.  They are a tight knit trio all living in the shadow of her deceased mother.  Stella has lots of pent up anger about her mother leaving her and her father.  Yet after her mothers passing they moved there to runn the B&B.

When Adam, a cop running from his job, finds a vacancy he rushes to claim it.  Somehow he winds up rescuing Stella's family and guests from her HORRIBLE culinary skills.  He also becomes the B&B handyman, a fill-in father figure for her son, a cheerleader for Stella's own artistic ability, and the Godly example that Stella needed as she faced the demons in her past.

I loved this book!  I love the setting (sounds like Eureka Springs, AR to me).  I love the way the story unfolds.  I love the example that there are still good people in the world.  Once again, this story is not about two indivuals falling in love, but rather two halves coming together to make a whole.
