I can't vote.
I have only seen Love Story. In fact, I have no idea about the other 4. Cheers!

Hi, Natalie!
Well, I guess you narrowed it down, and it looks like all of them are the best ones that were suggested. So it was really hard for me to vote. I hopped over to your website and ended up choosing 'Love Story', because of all of them I bawled the hardest for that one. 'Notebook' and 'Titantic' tie for my next choice. 'Notebook' is probably the most romantic of the two, but it's so hard to decide. I liked 'The Lakehouse', too. It was very unusual. I haven't seen 'PS I Love You', yet...but I plan to very soon.
This has been a fun idea of yours. Judging by the number of comments from your connected blog, I'd say everybody else thinks so too!

Vote away
Frenchie - it's pretty close between Love Story and The Notebook at the moment! You'll have to see The Notebook sometime - its good - have you read the book? Star - I haven't seen The Lakehouse yet - I need to know the ending first! - HA!
Amanda - yes its been fun - I was amazed at the chat that it sparked here
. I decided to go for one 'sub-genre' for the top 5 - I mean, there was no way we could have a serious vote between Titanic and Schindler's List right? So top 5 weepie romances it is - and we all love romance don't we?

The only movie in your top 5
The only movie in your top 5 that I have not seen is Titanic. Not I movie I will ever voluntarily watch. LOL, I wept through all 4 of the other movies and went back and forth between Love Story and The Notebook--finally decided that it would have to be Love Story. But in some ways that seems so unfair as I watched Love Story so long ago, when I was close in age to the characters ages. Now I am a lot older, but not quite the same age as the main characters in The Notebook. The both hit "close to home" at the time I watched them, in some ways but not in other ways. It was a tough call. This has been a lot of fun.
Nancy
Its a really tough call
.. isn't it? I know what you mean about those two in particular striking a chord and different times.. but I wanted to be 'mean' and force a favourite - looks like Love Story by a hair's breadth at this stage... but there's a few days in July yet!
Thanks Nancy - its been fun for me too
