I was given this by a friend who knew I used to live in Edinburgh. It has sat on my TBR pile for ages because I thought, Crime thriller - Nope, not for me - and multi pov - most *definitely* not for me, but what a cracker this book is. I can't tell you much because it would be full of spoilers, but there's a world-weary ex cop called Jackson Brodie - I'm in love with him! - a woman called Grace who gets some cracking lines - her daughter tells her she's found God. Grace replies, 'Oh, where had he gone?' A crime writer whose pesudonym is Alex Blake who - whenever he meets anyone - they always say, 'Oh, I thought you'd be taller,' and.... Oh, just read it. It's wonderful!
