I told Teresa that I'd mentioned her birthday here and she just gave me that look... you know the one that says... "Why?" and then... "'cause you're mom, I guess."

That is so true! My birthday really doesn't bother me; but my kids? Getting to be ages that I could swear I was just a couple of years ago? That one is....
And my second youngest's birthday's today... and she's 22. Now that is freaking her out! So I'm just laughing at Meagan... I'm pretty sure that she doesn't like to think of her older brother (25) and sister (23½) and their ages... Last night Teresa mentioned, oh so casually, that next year Meagan'll be 23...
I thought Meagan was going to going to stroke out ~ gads she was funny!...
Of course Teresa got a huge laugh out of that.
I know the fact that Teresa's 17 now is giving my oldest daughter Lisa a few rough moments. So nice when the things that freak parents out come home to roost!

They do
make us old before our time. The time does fly but at least we can still remember when we were young and had the energy to keep up with them. Hope her day was a good one.
