I could relate to the heroine in Book 3. She's the middle sist
er - Cassie Warren - a divorced mother who refuses to be ‘managed'. Her father tried and failed. Her sister failed as well. That's why Cassie left the home ranch in the first place and went looking for a job in the city where she is raising her son alone. Sometimes a girl just needs to stand on her own 2 feet.
But along comes Andrew Morris, a lawyer, and a man used to taking charge. He wants Cassie but without any commitments. He has so many ideas to improve her life! Of course, Cassie rebels, as usual.
Book 3 closes all the sub-plots that ran through the Big Sky Country series, although each book is a stand-alone and doesn't need the others. I'm glad, however, that I started at Book 1 and read each in turn. All the stories were very good.
You might not like all of the characters in this series, but I'm sure you'll recognize some of them. They are your family, friends and neighbors with all their glory, faults and low-points. Sometimes I wanted to shake them and sometimes hug them. And with all their problems, it's so nice to have an HEA.
I liked the author's sense of humour, too.

Sounds very real and down to earth too, Anita!

I have this in my TBR
it took a long time to arrive after I'd read the other two, so I
didn't feel it was urgent to get to it, but given that my personal
mini-challenge for March is series and continuities, it might be just
the impetus I need to drag out all these books and get them read and
"done with"

The final book
Sadhbh - What I liked about the 3rd book was that it refered back to the others so even if you hadn't read them in awhile, you won't feel out in left field.
When you do finish it though, all the loose ends will have been nicely tied and knotted. Reading the final book was immensely pleasing to me.
