Just posting this for myself, so I keep track of how many books I'm reading.
January, February, March - I wasn't aware of the challenge, so far I've blogged 64 of the backlog books, I've got another 100-150 books with partial reviews that I still have to post, but Janet's a lazy ass and doesn't want to do all those posts at once, so I'll do it later when I'm not so driven to read new books!
April - 104 books

How do you get so much time to read? I think if I was they type, I would be jealous. Do you read anything in particulr or everything in general?

I'm hoping to be at 500 by July 1st (year's midpoint)
I can understand you not wanting to do all those posts at once, it's bad enough when I have even a week's backlog, but think about 2249 reviews! that's how many I've blogged since I started back in 2006, so I'm burning out a little at this stage

I'd rather read than
Drkeel.... I'd rather read than sleep! Today I was up til all hours reading, I finished one book and was about to fall off asleep, but instead I read another book! And I only got 4 hours sleep. And I mostly read Presents, Desires, paranormal romances, Nocturnes, Blazes. Pretty much in that order of most to least. So I guess the Presents/Desires are shorter reads! They don't take as long as Super Romances to read, but then again, I don't read HPs or SDs because I want a short book, I read 'em because I love the steam.
Sadhbh, hee! I'm not going to try to match your book count book for book, month to month. *wink* I'm just going to chug along and aim for the 1000 point, that's in the distance and that's what I'd love to hit! Eventually yeah, I'll post my backlog reviews. I have the comments written for them, it's just going to be annoying to fill in the boxes for EVERY book: title, author, series, tags, type of book, review.... it's a lot of boxes to fill in and doing it 100 odd times.... last time i blogged 64 books in 3 hours and it almost gave me carpal tunnel. (And hey, in three hours I could read another one and a half books!)

Impressed! You would love the bins I found in my garage when I moved. I have 4 toughie bins of (late 80's through mid 90's) HR, Sillouettes, Desires, Loveswepts, etc. Roughly 600 to 700 books. Wish I had your discipline.
Your totals are amazing.
I use to read like you, but now that I am 29 again, I can't do it anymore. It's the reading glasses, you know. <wink, wink>
There is no way I can keep up with you ladies, so I am aiming at 300 by year's end. I just posted #75 this morning.

I have the more modest goal of 300 also. But I admire the women who can read and blog the big numbers! Impressive.
