Katie Winfield is an impulsive, flirty, no holds barred society girl. She is plotting the seduction of one of Boston's playboys with a military precision her father would be proud of! Not proud of the seduction maybe but the planning! This scenario is to take place at the Ladies League Ball which is a costume party. Katie knows her man will be there dressed as Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Liam James has come to the Ladies League Ball for one reason, to confront the man that is his birth father. Liam has spent his life hating Finn Delancy for what he did when Liam's mother became pregnant. Now he is finally going to get his chance to have his moment the man.
Guess what, Liam is dressed as a pirate & Katie, of course, thinks it is the man she wants to seduce. Just what happens when Katie finds out after an amazing seduction that it isn't the man she thought! Liam and Katie are very attracted to each other but each has a reason for not letting the other know their true feelings. Do these two find a real relationship, can Katie love a man with a different upbringing, is Liam going to let down his barriers, learn how to have fun and show Katie he is more than just a workaholic?
