My Sister's Keeper

Anna is conceived as a designer baby, a genetic match for her sister Kate who has leukemia.

Anna and Kate are loving sisters and best friends, but at 13 Anna doesn't know if she can continue being a donor for her sister.  When it was just blood and marrow she was donating it didn't have a lasting effect on her health, but now Kate needs a kidney and that may put Anna's future health at risk.

This novel takes a look at the situation from the point of view of everyone involved, from the mother, father and older brother to Anna, her lawyer and her guardian ad litem assigned to her case.  You'll examine the issue from every side in this entertaining, thought provoking and profoundly emotionally charged read.
