My son has his own theme music.

I just had to share because my 8yr old cracks me up. I am trying to pack for a weekend trip and he is playing with his castle legos. When he plays with them he has to sing the music from Lord of the Rings. If he is calm he hums the Shire tune. If he is playing a battle scene he has another tune and does an awesome immitation of a Nazgul. (Sounds pretty scary actually.)

There are different tunes for when he plays Star Wars legos or with the action figures. His favorite seems to be the music played during the Order 66 scenes. (He also sings/hums when he has lightsaber duels with any of us in the family.) When he plays with his dinosaurs he hums music from Walking with Dinosaurs.

I hope I have a future musician on my hands. Or maybe the next John Williams.

Your son sounds adorable!!!

I don't have kids of my own but I have lots of neices and nephews who do. I have 17 great-kids and just added a new great-nephew last Sunday for a total of 18. I have lots of contact with 10 soon to be 11 of them. It is surprising how diverse the inertests and personalities are.  My Grandmother always said to enjoy every moment and it sounds like you are. Your son sounds like he would be fun to be around.

Angel...

H'm...I don't hear those tunes around my place (well, except maybe DH will hum the Star Wars theme song sometimes).  OTOH, bet you don't hear the hummed tunes from Barbie Island Princess or Angelina Ballerina either do you? LOL

Your boys sound precious - in very boyish ways - which is perfect!  DH and I would love to have a son.  Maybe that day will come sometime....

Anyway, remember your eHarl buddies and send them complimentary tickets when your DS makes it to stardom! Wink

Kaelee and Amanda

Kaelee- Sounds like you have a lot of little ones to spoil!

Amanda- I think God gave me little boys because I don't know how to style hair! (My mom didn't either- my school pictures are pretty scary.)
