Need to catch up...

Just felt like posting and saying "I'm still reading tons, I'm just being lazy and not posting my reviews yet."  I've got about 15 books I've read this week that I need to review.  I've typed up 10 but still need to do another 5.  Eventually I'll post them all at once.

But yes... this is me saying I'm still here.  Just lazy.  I should favourite this thread and come back here next time I'm feeling lazy.

Ugh.  Feeling lazy again.

Ugh.  Feeling lazy again.  I was trying to review three books at a time, but I let it slide and now I've got over 20 books to review from this week.

Hi Janet

I have 9 books to blog and I always procrastinate about it. I am such a slow reader that mine have been waiting what seems like forever to get written up!

Margie :)

You guys don't even wanna go there with me....

LOL - I'm always behind.

There's one thing I've wondered about and never saw anyone else mention.  I didn't join eHarl until April, but I read lots of books since January.  Should I post those too, even though I didn't belong to the site yet?  Whew-boy, if I need to add those, then I'm really needing to get my butt to writing the reviews! Laughing

Hi Amanda

I say to add them! I think that is what Janet and some others have done. Have fun!

Margie :)

Amanda...  DO IT.  I

Amanda...  DO IT.  I am.  I joined the challenge in Apirl myself.  I posted one batch of "catch up" book reviews...  64 books!  And then I got lazy and put off doing the rest.  But eventually I do plan on posting my reviews of another 120 catch up books...  (I was already writing short notes to myself about the books I was reading, BEFORE I found out about this challenge, so that makes this easy for me!)   Naturally, Janet is pretty lazy and is a little avoidant about blogging 120 books all at once.  So it might take me a few weeks/months before I go ahead and get it over with.

You can just post the TITLES of the books though, if you can't go back and write up actual full reviews on the books you read months ago.  :)

And so...  I now have 23 books to blog about just from this week....  and another 120 books from back in January/February/March....  whew.  It just grows.

Shew!

Margie and Janet, looks like I'm going to be real busy for a while - knee-deep in reviews!  But since it's almost midnight, I think I'll wait 'til tomorrow to start!

I wish I'd have thought of writing notes like you did, Janet.  Good thing I have a memory for the books I read.  But most of them are still here in case I have to flip back through them for a refreshment.  I hardly ever get rid of my books, which is why I'm up to my ears in them! Laughing

Ha.  Amanda, you're a

Ha.  Amanda, you're a million times better than me if you start your catch up tomorrow.  I've been delaying my catch up since May 4 when I spent three hours posting those 64 catch up reviews, got disgruntled, and put off posting the other 120 odd reviews.  *grin*

And yeah... I only just started jotting notes this December/January.  I started this hugely anal Microsoft Excel spreadsheet about all the books I own.  I did this because I wanted the numbers, titles, authors organized so that I didn't buy duplicate copies (since I recently discovered eBay's bulk lots of older books, and I wanted to avoid duplicates).

Then I got the idea to start jotting down notes as I read...  I started out writing three word descriptions and ended up with huge descriptions, favourite scenes, etc.  Whoops.  I am pretty darn anal.  My list now has number, title, author, series line, type of book (library, ebook, owned), month/year read, etc...  whew.

Eeek.  I'd caught up for a

Eeek.  I'd caught up for a while, but now I've got another 20 to review.  Pooey.

Posting again to give

Posting again to give myself a virtual slap and get myself to post my reviews.  I've got more than 20 odd books from this week to review, I've got half written reviews/notes jotted down on my compy.  Need to go through my comments and organize 'em to post.

*virtual slap for Janet*
