This is a warning
I had never blogged before joining the book challenge in April and it is so much fun but in my case it is very addictive. It is the first and last thing I do now. Also you end up hearing about so many good books that your TBR pile will grow.

I have never blogged before until I joined this book challenge, then started to explore around the site & found this community. I didn't even know the meaning or the purpose of blogging until recently.

Well, just keep notes so that when you're no longer scared
you can remember what you've read! Some of us keep lists, some use sticky notes, whatever works for you.
Oh, and don't be scared! Once you've read some reviews, you'll see we range in style from no review to really long, well-thought out reviews and everything in between! The reading/book challenge is supposed to be fun! It also makes bookaholics go and buy more!!
So lurk awhile and then come join in the "conversations"! Imagine you're in a small town cafe and we're so excited to see a new person! :) We don't want to overwhelm you but we want to know all about you, so we'll invite you to sit down and we'll get you your favorite beverage and dessert . . .

About blogging.
It's easy to be intimidated. There are a lot of really great reviews and reviewers floating around out there. Not to mention some pretty talented tech people who make their blogs look amazing.
Personally, I'm pleased to be able to put something in bold and add a picture when the mood strikes. I don't do anything too fancy. And that's fine. Don't feel the need to go all out, because it can be overwhelming, especially in the beginning.
And if you don't know what to comment about the book I have found it helps when I ask myself a question. Why did I like or dislike this book? And then I type out an answer. It's not always eloquent but it gets the point across.
I hope you have as much fun blogging as we do. It's a great place to spend some free time. I've met a ton of wonderful readers here and it's great having the chance to be introduced to new books.
