The other day someone I know said she hated secret baby books because in her opinion they made the mothers look like villains. Well, I think I'll be recommending she read Newborn Conspiracy because wow, did Fossen take the secret baby book on a new ride!!!!
The whole time I was reading this Intrigue I was asking myself HOW did Fossen think of this!?! And then once I got over that, some new plot twist would have me asking the question all over again. Fossen is definitely a master plotter. I was completely blown away.
One of the things I loved most about Newborn Conspiracy was that the baby wasn't simply a plot device. He's a real character and the heroine is a real new mother. The author totally captured that fear and exhaustion and uncertainty. The prologue grossed me out (if you're reading this, sorry Delores!!!), but it was absolutely necessary for the rest of the story.

Fossen's books
I've enjoyed all of Delores' Five-Alarm Babies books. In fact I have her March '08 The Horseman's Son right here and will be reading it this week (I hope
)
You're right - It was kinda a gross beginning in Newborn Conspriacy
MAN!
I didn't get the March book. Somehow I overlooked it when I placed my March order. UGH! I think I'm going to have to subscribe to Intrigue, but DH gets a little perturbed when I subscribe AND order from the other lines too.
