Night Watch by Suzanne Brockmann (Intimate Moments 1243)

When US Navy SEAL Chief Wes Skelly was sent to L.A. on assignment, he agreed to go on a blind date with beautiful single mother Brittany Evans, sister-in-law of a fellow SEAL. After all, he had been secretly in love for years, albeit with a woman who belonged to another man. So what did he have to lose?

I adore Suzanne Brockmann and this is one of my favorites of all her books. I loved Wes Skelly the first time I read this book and I love him still. He's one of the most imperfect heroes that I've ever read, but that's why I love him. He's a little bit ADD, but he seeks knowledge. He's an admitted former smoker and maybe an alcoholic and he thinks he's in love with another woman, but somehow he manages to fall for Brittany and want to protect her. It's a great book!

I love all of her

I love all of her earlier books. I really liked Wes too but it's a toss up cause I loved Forever Blue and Frisco's Kid just as much.

Frisco and Blue

Frisco and Blue were fabulous heroes (as was Harvard and Jones), but I fell hard for Wes... He's so fabulously flawed and real. I have worn this book out.
