Nightcap by Kathleen O'Reilly

Back cover:  One heartthrob-on ice!  Sean O'Sullivan's claims that his family's landmark bar is the victim of City Hall shenanigans only means more work for Cleo Hollings, the mayor's number one mover and shaker.  Since Sean's got her busy, she decides she'll keep Mr. Testosterone busy, too...but between the sheets.

Yet sleeping with the hunky O'Sullivan isn't that simple.  Everyone said Sean would be inexhaustible-even unforgettable.  Nobody warned her he was lovable, too.  Now other club's drinks taste like dust.  Nothing measures up to a nightcap-with a chaser of O'Sullivan stud!

My view:  In the first 2 books we saw Sean as a constant skirt-chaser, always looking for the next woman to have sex with.  But he falls for Cleo right away, and doesn't give up.  This is the second book I've read lately that deals with a family member with Alzheimer's and this was done very well.  We not only have Sean and Cleo's story in this book, but we see the outcomes of Gabe and Tessa, and Daniel and Catherine's stories also.  I was prepared not to like Sean because he seemed such a womanizer, but quickly changed my mind.

Excellence rating: **** - Very good

Steaminess: Yummy
