When hot chocolate meets vanilla shake, sparks immediately fly, leaving the two very aware of each other. Can a lingerie designer and a sexy business consultant truly have a no-strings-attached relationship?
Yvonne Mitchelson owns a small string of lingerie boutiques. Lately her designs have been lackluster. Her partners have the answer: there's nothing like love to spark creativity, but Yvonne isn't interested. Past scars have left her afraid to love...to feel.
Michael Benjamin is the eptiome of the American male: tall, white, affluent, and handsome. He has his own scars, given to him by his ex-wife. Michael has honed his anger into a "love-'em-and leave-'em" facade. He's one of Atlanta's most elgible bachelors and determined to remain that way.
Their first night of passion leaves them both shaken. Unable to go back to the ways things were before, they agree to continue their personal relationship...with no commitment required. but love has a way of obliterating even the best-laid plans.
This was the first book that I read by this author and I liked it. Michael and Yvonne both have stuff that they must deal with in order to make their relationship work. Throughout the book they begin to work on the stuff from the past and begin to make their relationship work. It is a good romance story and some of the other characters make this story work.
