NOT SO GOOD BOOK REVIEWS

I really hate to do this but I have 16 books I need to review and I just don't have time to write really good ones. The are books I read while I was out of town helping my sister in law while my brother was in the hospital having quadruple by pass surgery. While I had plenty of time to read I did not have time to review the books read. I am going to use the back blurb so I can get these in and counted.

Just log

Just log them for now so they will count. I know we're behind on our numbers and yours will really help. Then maybe you can write a few paragraphs later how you felt about them. I mainly like how the reader enjoyed the books.

This is a blog, I haven't

This is a blog, I haven't found it as a review as well.

OK now I am confused.  It

OK now I am confused.  It doesn't show up on the counter of how many books I've reviewed but it is in my list of reviews.   As long as it doesn't count as a review leave it.

Ellen ......

I see where you think this is posting as a "book review" .... I think what's confusing you is that on your Profile page, when you click to see your "Most Recent Blog Posts" this blog entry is included

On your Profile page, your book reviews and blog entries are all lumped together under that section "Most Recent Blog Posts"    .... this is correct, at least for now ... I think there was some mention of perhaps trying to have separate "book reviews" and "blog entries" lists ......

to know for sure that you've made the correct entry, just look at the very top of your posts and you will see that just below the title in the teeny tiny print it will read either --- by ELLEN TOO on May 2nd, 2008, 9:14pm  ....   (As it does on this entry)  ..... or on your book reviews under the title it will read ...... Book Review created by ELLEN TOO on May 3rd, 2008, 12:56am    .....  if it doesn't say "Book Review", it's just a regular blog entry

there is yet another way to know that a regular blog entry is not posting to the book reviews, and that's to simply check all the blog entries that people in the Community have made .... (which is far less work than to check all the book review entries! LOL) ..... to do that you simply go to the Blog homepage, by clicking on "Blogs" on the title bar above ..... and then under "Most Recent Blog Entries" click on "More"     ..... then scroll through the list and you will see your "blog entry"

I know confusing, simply because they've lumped the regular blog entries with our book review entries on our Profile page listing .... but it's the same for everyone who posts both regular entries and reviews .... just check my Profile and you'll see that mine are combined too  ....

I hope I have helped to make it seem less confussing!  Smile

Thanks for the help

Thanks for the help Katherine.  I am such a novice and not good at technical things that this sort of thing sends my brain into overload.  Unfortunately technology has sped ahead and left my brain behind.  I am truely a child of the 40s.Undecided

Not to worry ....

LOL ..... I think you're doing great!    ...... I'm not up on all the fancy stuff some of new sites like MySpace or Facebook have to offer ..... the kids these days just whiz through all the stuff and it's so easy for them .... me I have to keep looking and looking and finally it smacks me in the face and whammo I finally get it!  LOL

the thing is, is to keep looking around .... spend as much time as you can trying out the different things here ... and clicking on the various links on the pages to see where it takes you  ..... you might discover some really great things!
