Nurse in Need by Alison Roberts (HMR #18, Jun 01)

They sent this one with my SRS shipment. I'm sure I'll be reading it soon. Trying to keep from stacking so many up this year.

the book I received in my Blaze and Intrigue subscription is "His Very Special Nurse" by Margaret McDonagh ... its a release from Aug. 07   .... there's a blitz on right now to encourage people to try the Harlequin Medicals and the Harlequin Romances ...... in the hand out that came with my subscriptions, it says that the McDonagh book is free for all subscribers now, and if they'd like to try the Medicals they'd get two of the Feb. 08 releases as complimentary gifts

Perhaps Deb really meant the McDonagh book?  ..... Christa said she also got this book with her Desires and Harl. Americans

I love that they are doing a blitz  .... I just wish they'd change the format to large print so that every print reader could read them easily ..... I find in the latest releases the print seems even smalller ... and they've made a few changes to the font that makes it not so easy to read too, I've found ..... I know I can pull out the good ole 1.25 drug store readers if I have to, but heck, I rarely have to put on readers to read a book .... grrrr

some how I don't think we'll run out of things to talk about!  lol

glad yours is the same, 'cus if not I was going to ask reader service for an exchange on the duplicate one I got ..... LOL ..... as it is I already own the book they're giving away, so this means I actually have three copies of this book now .....

I read this author's Crocodile Creek 24 Hour Rescue book and loved it.  I know I have one more by her in my TBR too.

That is interesting about the print and the length of the medicals.  I am glad that the don't force exact word counts.  One thing I am finding with the word count is that regardless of word count, so far, the medicals are very fast-paced reads for me.  maybe it is the medical scene or the action scenes but I read them much faster than some of the other short romance lines.  I like that.  Of course, I like variety too so it doesn't mean i want the other lines to change.  Rather, I like intermixing the medicals with reads from other lines.  It seems to make me appreciate both more.
