Umm...we-ell, it's been a disgustingly LONG time since I've visited eHarl.
During that time I have seen both my teens fly the nest, moved house (downsized considerably!), and become a 'new' woman (thanks to a major operation that became necessary).
Finally, I'm hoping the emotional coaster ride is now slowing down. I'm back I feel like a different person because there have been so many changes to adjust to in a relatively short space of time.
I now have a social life - in the REAL world (imagine that!!). I have an adoring hubby who has been spoiling me LOADS and who continues to be my rock through everything.
And, amidst all these changes there has been one constant in my life - my WRITING. I still aspire to write for Harlequin Mills & Boon and guess what...
today I SUBMITTED my partial manuscript to HMB Medicals.
I can hardly believe it! Finally I've sent my writing 'out' there and no matter what the outcome I feel like I've achieved something. And, what's more, if I can accomplish completing a full manuscript with everything else that's been happening in my life, how much more writing will I be able to do from now onwards?
TODAY is a GOOD day. It's so GOOD to be back!
