OMG! I actually finished my novella!!!!

It has been a long time since i've written on my blog.  My life's been hectic, though not nearly as hectic as my sister's.  I truly don't know how she's done it, but she has.

My mom's in the hospital with a quintuple bypass, aortic valve replacement and endarectomy.  A week or so later, she had an internal pacemaker put in, and now she's got more fluid in her lungs.  Every freakin' day it's something new.  But..........there's a light at the end of the tunnel.  She's alive.  And getting better.  Slowly but surely, she's getting better.

But i had some free time today, and only two chapters left to finish and son of a biscuit, i did it! I sat my a$$ down at the computer and said "Dont' move!"  Well, that lasted for a few lines.  I got up, muttered, walked around, and sat back down.  I did that for four hours and finished!!!!  So my house looks like it had a frat party.  Who cares?  I'm done!!!!

Sounds great?  Right?  The kicker is that it's the first part of a 4 part series.  I'm 25% through the whole thing.  That light at the end of the tunnel has just moved into next year!!

One of my all time favorite lines is from a book by Elizabeth Lowell.  The book is "Innocent as Sin" and the line is:  "Still channeling your inner b*tch".  Well....it's true.  My inner b*tch is working just fine, thank you.

So today, after finishing and typing "The End"..ooh i just got shivers thinking about it...then i remembered it's part one of four.  :(

Okay - dinner time...turkey club with homemade french onion soup.  Eat, then write.
