Have to admit I really liked this heroine. She is feisty, lovable, and her character is believable. I have known many women like her in real life. The hero is the strong silent type who needs her outgoing talky personality to help him delve into and solve his personal crisis. The suspense is good, the ending satisfying but I found myself wondering if the author was an agnostic because both the hero and heroine make a point of letting you know that they are not really sure they believe in God. Considering that the main story line is about a cult, it felt a little bit anti-God...don't really like that aspect but as fiction, it was a good way to spend a couple of hours.
