Sabrina is a national security agent, masquerading as a temporary PA. She gets sent on a special mission just when her boss announces his forthcoming retirement, but then her courier is shot in front of her and her ex turns up and tries to convince her there's a plot to kill her. Whose side is he on? Can she trust him? Should she allow herself to fall in love with him – again? I enjoyed this though my mood changed half way through and I struggled a bit to finish it. Still it was up to Deb's usual high standard, more of a Bombshell feel than an Intrigue, a change from the Colby's

I thought this felt a lot more like a bombshell, although the ending seemed a bit rushed to me. Overall, another good DW story.

tad difficult, but that could have also been the kids and the
bronchitis, the book had a lot of competition

reading - definitely and yes the ending was much faster paced than the
beginning, maybe could have done with some more space to expand
