I'm having a moviefest lately with a focus on Jane Austen. I adore her books and have since I was a teenager. I've watched the BBC versions of Mansfield Park and Sense and Sensibility. The BBC version of Pride and Prejudice (the best) and the Kiera Knightly version (too short to do the book justice).
I'm now watching The Jane Austen Book Club. I think its a great movie. You have your Mr. Wickham/Willoughby type character....he's a broody teenager (who's always with another girl) that keeps flirting with the young pretty teacher. The Emma character who keeps trying to hook-up her divorcing friend. I can't decide who Grigg is or who the other characters are. I need more time. Totally recommend.
Laughter is an instant vacation- Milton Berle

good choices!
I love Jane Austen , too!
Haven't seen The Jane Austen Book Club. Sounds really cute.
