One my more favorite Sandra Brown books. There are so many times in the book that I just shocked and disgusted that anyone would even think to do this. It's an easy read with some good twists and a few moments of predictability. There is the thug causing harm to the main character and people close to him, lots of money, murder, plenty of sex, and a struggle to love and be loved.
A rich paraplegic and his wife want a child so desperately, but do not want anyone to know that it is not his. They hire a recently released convict to impregnant the wife, the old fashioned way. But Griff is being stalked by someone from his past that wants to send him back to jail or worse. This thug uses methods of threats and phyiscal violence against anyone that seems close to Griff. When he finds out about Griff and the wife's secret meetings each month, he threatens to expose them.
