I'd been meaning to read this book ever since I heard the premise about a woman who trades execution for life as a poison taster. It absolutely lived up to my expectations. Ms Snyder created a believable world and a compelling story.

My book club just loved reading Poison Study and went on to read the others. I have the other two books but I have so many other series books to read. I also have a four year old so it's harder for me to read as fast as everyone else. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book.

I'm still thinking about the book days after I finished it, which for me is a sign of a story that really worked for me. I'll definitely be hunting out the next two in that series. And I think Maria Snyder has a new series coming out soon too (if it's not out already).

...and I totally loved them!  And like you, Sandra, the story has stuck with me.  In fact I had a very difficult time finding something else to read afterwards.
  And now my daughter is just finishing up Fire Study... she started on Monday.
