Predatory Game by Christine Feehan

OK, every time I read a Feehan book I realize after I finish it that I have to wait an additional 3-4 months before her next book comes out.  This is the only thing that sucks about her series.  I hate the waiting game and I just want to continue on reading the story.  Well anyways, a little review:

Saber Wynter has a past, but not the kind you would think.  She never had a family that loved her as a kid, and she doesn't have a memory of her past where there wasn't an experiment performed on her (or by her through Whitney, the man experimenting on her).  Her childhood is a maze of guilt, pain and death.  But now Saber is on the run, no longer wanting to perform these experiments or even become the assassin that Whitney has trained her to be.  All she wants is a normal life.

Jess Calhoun's past is completely different.  He has a loving family that is there to support him and he has always felt loved.  The one mistake anyone could make is to mess with his family.  The moment Jess meets Saber, his heart goes out to her and she begins to be a part of those he would die to protect.  But there is one thing that Jess doesn't realize for 10 months.  Saber is a Ghostwalker like him.  Once they get past their mis-communication and self esteem issues,  both are strong people who are compatable with each other and the answer to each others problems.

I love the characters that Christine Feehan writes.  I can't wait for her next book!!
