I really enjoyed this book! I was worried because the last two books in this series, about the twins, were very redundant to me. So I was worried this series was going stale. But then this book had new elements that made me realize why I love this series so much.
You do have to read this series in order because there is an overall developing story behind the Ghostwalkers that you will miss out on or not understand if read out of order. I just wish the books came out closer together.
This book was about Jesse and Saber. I was wondering how she's make me feel Jesse as a real hero because he's in a wheelchair. But I shouldn't have worried. Jesse is just as yummy and powerful as all the Ghostwalker men. And I really felt something for Saber. She was so strong and powerful yet vulnerable in the fact that she wanted to be accepted and loved and part of the group, but never though it would be possible. I really loved Saber.
I highly recommend this series. And Christine Feehan's Drake Sister series, which has it's latest book coming out this summer. She also has a vampire series that I hear is great, but haven't read any in that yet. I have to look at her website and see if it says who the next GhostWalker book will be about. The storyline is so interesting and unusual. I just wish we didn't have to wait so long for the next one.
Well, tomorrow I have my last 2 finals then I'm done with school for the summer. Thank goodness. I plan on spending all next week catching up on the many books I have been waiting to read. There are many auto-buy authors with books out this month and I plan to read read read! But first.... back to studying for tomorrows finals.
blurb from back cover: Saber Wynter is running from her past when she meets Jess Calhoun, an ex-Navy SEAL who is physically and emotinally compromised by his own mysterious and violent history as a GhostWalker. What Jess senses in Saber is a kindred spirit, a lost soul desperate for sanctuary. He offers her a home, a job, and a haven where she can safely reveal the secrets that shadow her. But danger follows her, too. Now, the riddles of both their pasts are about to collide, shattering the promise of their future with the ultimate betrayal.

Hi Tracey,
What a nice surprise to see you here and to realize(not on friends list, but about to be remedied) i haven't seen you here since the year began. So much harder to keep up and be on top of things with the new board setup.
I recently read my first Ghostwalker novel and really enjoyed it, so i couldn't resist picking this one up when i saw it sitting on the grocery store shelf last week. Glad to hear it's a really good one.

Wow, with school and all I haven't had a chance to play around and find all my friends from the old board! Glad you found your way to me!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your series. But try to read them in order so you can get the overall story. Can't wait to hear what you think.
I just responded to Jayjeans
I just responded to Jayjean's blog about this book. Glad to see another good review for this one as I'll be reading it soon. It's close to the top of my pile.
