Prisoner of Tehran

Every now and then, I like to sink my teeth into autobiographical stories.  Gaining an insight into other people's lives is fascinating or in this case, slightly horrific.

It's a story of courage, faith and self-belief, and raises questions of what we'd do to survive when faced with insurmountable horrors.

Must admit, I love reading romance for a reason: it's entertaining, escapism and leaves me feeling warm and fuzzy.

Powerful books like this don't.  They leave me feeling flat and reaching for an uplifting category romance quick smart.
