I'm a little disappointed with my personal reading totals for April. I had hoped to keep up the momentum from March but alas, somewhere in the middle of the month I lagged. I think part of my lagging is I was getting very distracted with our It's Raining Men mini-challenge! I found myself spending time online looking up hunky heroes to play the leads in the movie version of the books I was reading. That was loads of fun, discovering all those gorgeous male leads and reading their stats and refreshing myself with the roles they've played in the past. I enjoyed pretending I was the casting direct for Harlequin Movie Productions, until I got stumped with heroes that were European or Middle Eastern, and then I realized that I know very little about the talent from other parts of the world. So I abandoned the mini-challenge in the hopes it would encourage me to read more, only to discover I'd got myself into a mini-slump! When in a slump my standard cure is to reach for an author I love to bits. My personal reading slump puller outer is Lucy Monroe. Her HPs work everytime!

You two both rock!
I think the two of you did just fine this month. I'm the one who keeps our totals from climbing faster... Thanks for the Stats Katherine. It was nice to see that I'm doing a little better this year than I was last year. I still have to really get going, though. I'm currently reading the Adrianne Byrd book Two Grooms and a Wedding. It's FANTASTIC! I should finish it tonight.

Hmmmmm ........
let's see ....... when did Christa start slipping on her reading??? ..... hmmmmm????
oh, maybe it has something to do with her NEW COMPUTER! ..... ROFL ...... do you think????
and all that time you're spending looking for eBooks that you can now read ... and spending time watching videos that you can now watch ..... and having more than one window open at a time ....
I can pinpoint it almost to the day! LOL

hmmm
You may have a point but you guys are partly to blame for the ebooks. You review such great books that I just need to find them, while I'm at the ebook site I might as well look for other books by author, then might as well look for books by same publisher
I mean I'm there anyway.
And I'm sure those three hour phone calls aren't helping either
