Book 2 in Raintree series.  Gideon Raintree is a homicide cop in North Carolina who sees and communicates with ghosts.  He also has the power of electricity.  He doesn't want to have a new partner, but Hope Mallory forces him to let her into his professional and private life.  Together they try to solve the murders caused by a serial killer before it's too late.  Gideon also learns that the Ansara clan is behind the killings and that they are  all in danger.

I really enjoyed this series.  I do have to say that this book was my favorite.  I just loved Gideon!

This was my favorite of the three. I would like to see more books in this series but with H's more like Gideon's character. I really didn't care for the other two guys at all.

My favorite Raintree book was number two and then I discovered that it was nominated for a RITA award! I hope it wins.
