Finally, a book I can love! The past few books I've read have not been what I'm used to. Since I ordered this one in that same shipment, well, I wasn't expecting much. When DH came in from work last night at 11 PM he came in, looked at me, said, "I guess this one is better than the last few?"

This book was a learning experience for me. I guess I view Amish people as Amish people, and Christian people as Christian people. This book presents Amish as Christian. Hmmmm....I'd never thought of that, but it appears they are!
I learned a lot about culture and preconceived ideas from this book, all while falling in love with the characters AND being motivated by the plot!
